Balmain Spring 2023 - Paris Fashion Week

"All of us invent ourselves, some of us just have more imagination then others."

Cher said in the opening short clip shown at the Balmain Spring Fashion show 2023 wearing her futuristic latex suit and promoting a new handbag.

Oliver Rousteing’s inspiration for this years show were the climate change and fires and drought over the summer he stated before the show.

Build like a rock concert the venue held many hundered people that were lucky to get invited to the show.

Opening pieces showcased straw-like dry materials and fabrics in sand tones playing with silhouettes and 3D art. Woven shirts and, wood accessories and chunky gold jewlery completed the look.

In combination with heels and plateau shoes that reminds us of stone age roughness and elegant fine lines through the garments, the Collection started to look like a flowing desert across the runway.

A big surprise was Cher not only opening the fashion show in a short clip but attending and greeting the guests in person at the finale.
